Ingredients

Scale

Graham Crackers

  • 12 graham crackers, broken in half (24 squares)

Peanut Butter Mixture

  • 1 1/2 cups creamy peanut butter
  • 1/2 cup (1 stick) butter, softened
  • 2 1/2 cups powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Chocolate Coating

  • 3 1/2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 3 tbsp vegetable oil (for melting chocolate)

Peanut Butter Drizzle

  • 1 cup peanut butter chips
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil (for melting peanut butter chips)

Instructions

  1. Prepare Graham Crackers: Break each graham cracker sheet in half so they’re now squares. Place the graham crackers on a lined baking sheet and set aside for assembling.
  2. Make Peanut Butter Mixture: In a large mixing bowl, combine the creamy peanut butter, softened butter, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract. Mix thoroughly until the mixture is smooth and well incorporated.
  3. Form Peanut Butter Balls: Roll the peanut butter mixture into 1-inch-sized balls. Place one ball onto each graham cracker square, evenly spacing them.
  4. Flatten Peanut Butter Balls: Carefully flatten each peanut butter ball onto the surface of the graham cracker, spreading the mixture all the way to the edges to cover the cracker completely.
  5. Melt Chocolate Coating: In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the semi-sweet chocolate chips and 3 tablespoons of vegetable oil. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring well between each, until the chocolate is fully melted and smooth.
  6. Coat Graham Crackers with Chocolate: Dip or spoon the melted chocolate over each peanut butter-topped graham cracker, allowing excess chocolate to drip off before transferring them back onto the lined baking sheet.
  7. Melt Peanut Butter Chips: In another microwave-safe bowl, combine the peanut butter chips with 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until melted and smooth.
  8. Drizzle Peanut Butter: Drizzle the melted peanut butter chips over the chocolate-coated graham crackers in a decorative pattern.
  9. Set and Chill: Transfer the baking sheet with all the coated graham crackers to the refrigerator. Allow the chocolate to set completely before serving, approximately 30 minutes.

Notes

  • Use creamy peanut butter for a smooth filling. Crunchy peanut butter can affect the texture.
  • Ensure butter is softened for easier mixing but not melted.
  • If you don’t have a microwave, melt the chocolate and peanut butter chips using a double boiler method.
  • Store these treats in an airtight container in the refrigerator to keep the chocolate set and fresh.
  • For a dairy-free version, substitute butter and chocolate chips with vegan alternatives.
