Ingredients

Scale

For the Shrimp:

  • 1 lb shrimp (peeled and deveined)
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice

For the Caesar Dressing:

  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tbsp Parmesan cheese (grated)
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 garlic clove (minced)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

For the Wraps:

  • 4 large flour tortillas
  • 2 cups romaine lettuce (chopped)
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese (shaved)
  • 1/2 cup croutons (optional)
  • 4 slices bacon (cooked and crumbled, optional)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Shrimp: In a bowl, toss shrimp with olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper until evenly coated. Grill the shrimp for 2-3 minutes per side over medium-high heat until they turn pink and opaque, then squeeze lemon juice over the cooked shrimp.
  2. Make the Caesar Dressing: In a separate bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, grated Parmesan cheese, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, Dijon mustard, and minced garlic until smooth. Season the dressing with salt and pepper to taste and set aside.
  3. Assemble the Wraps: Warm the flour tortillas in a skillet for about 30 seconds on each side until pliable. Spread a generous layer of Caesar dressing evenly onto each tortilla. Arrange the grilled shrimp, chopped romaine lettuce, shaved Parmesan cheese, and optional toppings like croutons and crumbled bacon on top.
  4. Fold and Roll: Fold the sides of the tortilla inward, then tightly roll from the bottom up to enclose the filling securely.
  5. Serve and Enjoy: Slice each wrap in half diagonally and serve immediately for best flavor and texture.

Notes

  • You can substitute gluten-free tortillas to make this recipe gluten free.
  • For extra heat, add a pinch of cayenne pepper or hot sauce to the shrimp marinade.
  • Grilling shrimp on a preheated grill or grill pan ensures even cooking and smoky flavor.
  • Store any leftover shrimp and dressing separately and assemble wraps fresh to avoid sogginess.
  • Optional bacon and croutons add crunch but can be omitted for a lighter wrap.
