  1. Freeze the Cheese Sticks: Place mozzarella string cheese sticks in the freezer for 2-4 hours to firm up. This helps prevent the cheese from leaking out while baking.
  2. Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) to ensure it’s hot and ready when your mummies are prepared.
  3. Prepare Crescent Dough: Unroll one tube of crescent roll dough and press the seams together firmly to form a single large rectangle. Use a sharp knife or pizza cutter to cut the dough into thin strips, about 1/2 inch wide.
