  • ½ cup ricotta

Instructions

  1. Heat and Brown Beef: In a large pot, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the ground beef and cook for 5 minutes, breaking it apart with a spatula as it cooks until browned.
  2. Add Aromatics and Spices: Add the minced onion, garlic, dried basil, oregano, and red pepper flakes to the pot. Stir and cook together for an additional 4 minutes to develop flavors.
  3. Combine Pasta and Liquids: Add the dry farfalle pasta, water, and marinara sauce to the pot. Stir well to combine all ingredients evenly.
  4. Bring to Boil: Cover the pot and turn the heat to high. Allow the mixture to come to a boil over 3-5 minutes while covered.
