These Turkey Cranberry Sliders are a delicious, crowd-pleasing appetizer perfect for holiday gatherings or game day snacks. Featuring tender shredded turkey, vibrant cranberry sauce, and melty provolone cheese on soft Hawaiian rolls, these sliders are topped with a sweet and savory glaze and a sprinkle of everything bagel seasoning for an irresistible flavor combination.

Ingredients

Scale

For the sliders

  • 12 Hawaiian rolls
  • 3 cups shredded turkey (about 12 ounces)
  • 1 cup cranberry sauce
  • 4 ounces provolone cheese (6 slices)

For the glaze

  • 1 tablespoon butter, melted
  • 2 teaspoons honey
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon everything bagel seasoning

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven: Set your oven to 350°F to warm up while you prepare the sliders.
  2. Make the glaze: In a small bowl, whisk together the melted butter, honey, and Dijon mustard until well combined. Set this glaze aside for later use.
  3. Prepare the rolls: Slice the Hawaiian rolls horizontally in half. Place the bottom halves in a baking dish, ensuring they’re close together to hold the fillings.
  4. Layer the fillings: Spread the shredded turkey evenly over the bottom halves of the rolls. Next, evenly dollop the cranberry sauce on top of the turkey. Finally, layer the sliced provolone cheese over the cranberry sauce.
  5. Assemble Sliders: Place the top halves of the rolls back on top of the layered fillings. For better flavor distribution, optionally slice between each slider before glazing.
  6. Glaze the tops: Use a pastry brush to spread the prepared glaze over the tops and sides of the assembled sliders. Sprinkle everything bagel seasoning generously on top to add extra flavor and texture.
  7. Bake: Place the baking dish in the preheated oven and bake for 18-22 minutes or until the cheese melts completely and the rolls turn golden brown on top.
  8. Serve: Remove from oven, let cool slightly, then separate the sliders and serve warm for a flavorful bite-sized treat.

Notes

  • Using leftover turkey from a roasted bird works perfectly for this recipe.
  • You can substitute cranberry sauce with homemade or store-bought, depending on your preference.
  • Everything bagel seasoning adds a delightful crunch and flavor—feel free to customize or omit based on taste.
  • For extra flavor, brushing the glaze between slider cuts allows it to seep in better.
  • These sliders can be prepared ahead of time and baked just before serving.
